My full name is Lorena María Lara Bolaño, I was born on November 29 of 1983. I studied Industrial Engineering at Universidad Autónoma del Caribe. Nowadays I'm a part-time student, I study English at Centro Cultural Colombo Americano because I need it for work. Today most industrial engineers need English for their jobs. I'm nice, honest, responsible and with a great sense of humor.I'm from a big family, I'm the youngest of one brother and two sisters. My parents live in Ciénaga, they are retired, they were excellent teachers and they're still remembered by their good job. I have six nephews and three nieces, we're a beautiful family. Every twenty-fourth of December we have a big family party, presents, food and stuff like that.
GOD is my passion and my life, so that I love knowing him everyday. I enjoy reading christian books, listening and dancing christian music, watching christian programs and things.
MEMORIES OF CHILDHOOD AND SCHOOL
I was born in a neighborhood of Ciénaga (Magdalena) called "El Carmen", its neighbors were friendly, so that I played with friends to hop-scotch, hide and seek, baseball, jazzes and everything. In the afternoon my sister and I went out to ride bicycle.

I liked when it rained because the street didn't have paving, so that it was like a quiet river and my sister and I made boats of paper, then we put them on the water and saw them to go far away.
I liked to go to the beach for picking up clams, and then at home my mother cooked them. I ate a lot of clams.I played with dolls a lot, my sister had a big doll. I gave it some of my dresses that my mother made me, they were beautiful dresses.

ether from kindergarten to high school. I remember my graduation day in kindergarten, I was five. I had to say the "Words of farewell", the place was crowded and when I saw the people, I got nervous and I began to cry, my mother and my teacher asked me what happens?...I only cried and finally I didn't say nothing.
Also I remember one day when I was in kindergarten, we went to Santa Marta's airport, I don't remember the name now but I went there with my teacher, my mother, my classmates and their parents. We knew the airport, ate the ligth meal taken, I ate chicken, potatoes and things. Finally we got on a plane, I really liked it because I only had seen planes on TV.About my childhood vacations I don't have to tell a lot. When I was a child I didn't go on special trips a lot. I only know Ciénaga, Barranquilla and kind of Santa Marta. Traveling made me feel sick, sometimes I vomited, so that my mother always took a plastic bag when we traveled.
About school... um... I remember that I was late for school every morning, many a time I ran to go in just before that the door was closed. I got good grades in all subjects but I didn't like spanish and literature because the homework were a lot.
I hated philosophy, in my opinion was boring and I was in disagreement with many topics. I liked anatomy because I think that it's interesting to learn about the human body and its functioning. I liked to study biology too because I enjoy learning about nature. I'd like to study art, it's exciting to make new things and to express your ideas. Also I'd like to learn about international cuisine, I enjoy watching cuisine programs.
